Bro. Dev Kesarwani first saw the Light on the 26th of May, 2004, born the third child of Mrs. Priti Kesarwani and Mr. Uttam Prasad Kesarwani, into a family whose roots run deep in community service and public life. From an early age he has laboured to carry that legacy forward with quiet distinction, building today a standing that spans academics, enterprise, sport and public service, and that today extends also to the Craft itself.

In his professional labours, Bro. Dev Kesarwani serves as Chairman and Managing Director of UP Kisan Associates Private Limited, bringing to the role the same square dealing, upright conduct and steady energy that mark his engagement across every sphere of his life.

Bro. Dev Kesarwani holds the State Executive Membership of Vishva Hindu Mahasabha and is a player-member of the Bridge Federation of India. Beyond these, his circle of fellowship extends across a wide and distinguished company of institutions, reflecting a life woven closely into the fabric of public and community life.

Beyond these formal associations, he is an avid believer and follower of Buddhism, drawing on its principles as a guiding philosophy in both his personal and public life-a private compass that sits well beside the working tools of the Craft.
FREEMASONRY - THE CRAFT ITSELF
Marching forward as a third-generation Freemason, Bro. Dev Kesarwani honours the memory of his late grandfather by keeping his traditions alive upon the trestleboard, a torch passed from hand to hand across the generations and now his to bear.
He was duly and truly initiated into Freemasonry at Lodge Dr. Gaurhari Singhania No. 391, under the Grand Lodge of India, on the 23rd of July 2025, and within that same twelvemonth was passed to the degree of Fellow Craft and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason-three Degrees received in a single year, a pace as rare as it is telling of his zeal for the Light.
His journey did not rest at the Craft Lodge door. He was thereafter exalted in the Royal Arch Chapter Dwarka No. 118, advanced in Mark Masonry at Lodge Siddhnath Mark Master Masons No. 144, and today holds also the distinction of Ark Mariner at Kailashnath No. 144-each additional Degree another working tool taken up, another Ancient Landmark honoured, and together a testimony that he labours not for the badge but for the building. In him the Craft finds a Brother who wears his Apron with the same quiet distinction his forebears wore theirs, true and trusty upon every point of his Obligation.
ROTARY & COMMUNITY SERVICE
If Masonry teaches Relief as a duty owed to all mankind, Rotary has long been the field upon which Bro. Dev Kesarwani has practised it. True to his family's enduring commitment to service-a tenet that sits shoulder to shoulder with Masonry's own principle of Relief and Brotherly Love-Rtn Bro. Dev Kesarwani was inducted into the Rotary Club of Kanpur Gaurav in July 2022 and was elected Secretary for the term 2026–27, carrying forward, as a fourth-generation Rotarian, a legacy of service above self that runs a parallel course to his labours within the Lodge. Two Fraternities, one compass bearing: to leave the world a little better built than he found it.
SPORTS
Masonry asks of its Brethren a well-balanced mind housed in a well-governed body, and Bro. Dev Kesarwani answers that call on the field as readily as at the Lodge. An active sportsman at heart, he plays football and boxing, and has held a life membership with TSH since its incorporation-contests that demand the very virtues the Craft holds dear: fortitude under pressure, temperance in victory, and fair play upon every level ground. What the working tools teach in the abstract, the playing field and the ring have taught him in the flesh.
PHILANTHROPY
Of the three great Masonic tenets, Charity is reckoned the greatest, and it is here that Bro. Dev Kesarwani's labours speak loudest. In cherished memory of his late family members, he sponsors a series of merit-based trophies, presented annually by the Kesarwani Vaish Sabha in Kanpur to deserving students from classes 5th through 12th-relief extended not as almsgiving but as investment, placed each year into the hands of the rising generation. It is Charity practised as Masonry intends it: silent, sustained, and asking nothing in return save that the recipient, in time, be moved to do likewise. In this, the ancestors he honours are not merely remembered but actively perpetuated.
Such is the story of Bro. Dev Kesarwani-a life built stone upon stone, on the level, by the square, and to the glory of the Great Architect of the Universe, carried forward with humility and purpose.
